One Mighty Roar is a web design company that also runs a network of blogs centered around creativity, including this one. They are behind The Nonsense Society (a fine arts community) and Build Internet (web design & development).
The office is located in a former accounting firm’s building in the historical district of Holyoke, MA. The city is best known for inventing the sport volleyball and Steve Porter, the man who remixed the Slap Chop infomercial.
Also in the same building is fellow design company Ten Minute Media. If you’re interested in seeing the process of turning accountant space into creative space, be sure to check out the full Flickr album of the renovations.
The majority of furniture is from IKEA. Highlights include Frederik desks and Griffin Elevator laptop stands. The giant plant also helps add a certain jungle appeal to the space.

@Raja
You got it! That’s where we like to think all the magic happens. The chairs are nice, albeit a little warm sometimes. The ultimate goal is to someday make the jump to Aeron chairs. Have you seen them before? Thrones.

@Zach You can (almost) never be too liberal in buying chairs for long work hours. I had a chair once, one day I stretched backwards a little too far. The support for backrest broke, the backrest fell behind the chair. The damn thing had wheels so I went down with it. That impact on the back of my head. Phew..

Nice site. I think this has a lot of potential and I look forward to seeing more offices. It’s nice to see the padded chairs that inspire your magic here!

Great office and equally impressive transformation from early-nineties bland to startup chic.

I like the Ikea desk. I have the same one in my “office.” It’s solid and very modern looking.

Aeron chairs are awesome I recommend buying them asap if you work long hours. Currently at my internship I get one they come in handy when sitting for eight hours straight no back pain whatsoever.

@Kiran If you are interested in similar furniture (Herman Miller and such) check out Design Within Reach (http://www.dwr.com/) they typically offer the best price around from what I have seen.
