Tatango

Company Name

Tatango is a messaging platform that allows its users to contact a large group via Short Message Service (SMS). Their offices are located in Bellingham, Washington and sport a themed color base as well some fun decorating.

Launched in 2007 by Derek Johnson Tatango in his parents basement, it has continued to grow and receive praise for its product. Originally built to send messages to fraternity members it has now grown to service local organizations to fortune 500 companies.

The service is dead simple to use, as it should be. I made the jump from accountless bum to en masse messaging mogul in all of about 2 minutes. Sign up, invite some friends, and you (or anybody you dub as a group admin) are able to SMS the entire group at once, either from the browser or right off your mobile handset. -Techcrunch

The Tatango offices offer plenty of large displays, custom art, a stocked fridge and a wall mounted basketball hoop.  All six of the current employees are under 25 years old. Check out some shots of the office below.

    1. Looks like a pretty sweet office for such a small team. I hope they don’t allow drinking during working hours :)
